It’s been a very uneven season for “Saturday Night Live,” but there are encouraging signs for the season finale. Justin Timberlake is back to host, and Lady Gaga, probably the most-discussed musical act going, will perform. Could we see another musical short starring Timberlake and Andy Samberg? The show starts at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on NBC.


***CBS’ “60 Minutes” will offer two hours, starting at 7 p.m. Sunday. The first hour will feature Scott Pelley’s interview with Tyler Hamilton, former teammate of cyclist Lance Armstrong. Hamilton accuses Armstrong of using banned substances to win and offers detailed allegations. CBS News says the interview is part of a six-month investigation into Armstrong, who has repeatedly denied using banned substances. The 7 p.m. hour also features Anderson Cooper’s interview with a former FBI agent who discusses his relationship with a mob informant. The second hour offers a Lesley Stahl profile of the Rev. ***ABC rolls out the 2011 Billboard Music Awards at 8 p.m. Sunday. Neil Diamond will perform and receive the Icon Award. Also set to perform are Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, Keith Urban, Pitbull, Lady Antebellum, Far East Movement, Ne-Yo, OneRepublic and Taio Cruz. Beyoncé will receive the 2011 Billboard Millennium Award. The presenters include Kylie Minogue, Matthew Morrison, Joe Jonas, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Tim Allen, Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland, Nas, Rico Rodriguez, Scott Weiland, Travis Barker and Trey Songz. Ken Jeong hosts.

***”The Celebrity Apprentice” offers its two-hour season finale at 9 p.m. Sunday on NBC. But Donald Trump took a lot of the suspense out this week when he announced he wouldn’t run for president.

Fox offers the season finales of its animated sitcoms on Sunday: “American Dad” at 7:30 p.m., “The Simpsons” at 8, “Bob’s Burgers” at 8:30 and “Family Guy” at 9. “Family Guy” is a one-hour finale and the final part of the show’s three-part “Star Wars” spoof. The guest voices include Anne Hathaway, Rush Limbaugh and Carrie Fisher.
