Formula 1 gossip and rumours from international media

Pirelli motorsport director Paul Hembery believes that, instead of the two or three-stop strategies which were seen in Australia two weekends ago, teams may be forced to make three to four pit visits in the upcoming race at Sepang. Hembery also said two extra sets of tyres will be made available per car for Friday's free practice.

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko says the reigning constructors champions would consider trying to sign McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton in the future. With Mark Webber out of contract in 2012, Marko said: "Definitely with his aggression and his speed, Hamilton must always be a topic. Our philosophy is to have the quickest drivers together in our team."
